This patient came in with a chief complaint that though she is a confident, strong woman, she was self-conscious about her smile. She disliked the large gap between her front teeth and the discolored mottling on her enamel. After careful discussion with the patient, it was decided that orthodontics would not be an option due to the moderate bone loss she had beneath the tissue. This left restorative dentistry as the only option to achieve her esthetic goals. A chair-side mock-up was done to simulate what it would look like to close the gap and lengthen the teeth to be sure both the patient and Dr. Seay approved the design. The patient was thrilled with the mock-up and no-preparation chair-side resin veneers were made by hand by Dr. Seay in one appointment. What a difference a little change can make!
